Stories in a D20

So many stories can be told in the fantastical worlds of Dungeons and Dragons. Victory or Defeat are decided by the roll of the dice. The twenty sided die, or D20, holds the power to make or brake a great move by the players or a finishing blow by the villain.

This build displays the two sides of the story, the one with players sitting around a table throwing dice, and the one where the heroes enter the Mindflayers lair to defeat them.

The model consists of 691 parts and contains eight minifigures:

The Dungeon Master (modeled after D&D inventor Gary Gygax) plays a session for three players modeled after three influential Dungeon Masters of todays actual play scene, that helped to make D&D popular again!

The three player characters are archetypes of the genre, the human wizard, the dwarfen warrior and the elven ranger, they go against a well known villain of the Dungeons and Dragons world: The Mindflayer!
