Perspective and Imagination

For many of us, our first exposure to LEGO as kids was the basic bricks (2x2, 2x4, etc) and plates. There weren't any specialized pieces. Even so, we knew that we could still build whatever we wanted. Also, we probably didn't have many bricks so we had to use our imaginations. Taking inspiration from those earlier days, I have built this set with only basic bricks and plates in two colors. There are also only 75 pieces to reflect our limited pieces when we first started. However, this set shows how you don't need fancy pieces - or even many pieces - to build something cool. That's because perspective and imagination are what really matter. In this set, perspective is quite literal too. From the long side, these bricks spell the word LEGO. From the top, they spell the word IDEA (sorry, there wasn't room for the "s" LOL). From the short side, they form the number 15. Although specialized pieces are great, the key to any wonderful LEGO build is perspective and imagination.
