The First Lego Idea
This is my rendition of Ole Kirk Kristiansen's workshop. It was his 'LEGO idea' that sparked people's imagination and creativity around the world and now through LEGO Ideas, we as LEGO fans can show what we have to offer. In my build I have included some details from the LEGO Group's early days such as 2 wooden buses, a duck on wheels, a milling machine, a functioning moulding machine, a teddy bear on a shelf referencing the plastic bears Kristiansen first used his moulding machine for and a few other little builds such as a mini LEGO lorry, a desk and lamp, a stove and some boxes with freshly moulded LEGO bricks. The roof of the building can easily come off and the back wall can be removed for better access. As it is 15 years of LEGO Ideas, I have made a tiled floor with the number 15 in it. The minifigures included are Ole Kirk Kristiansen and his son, Godfret. Funnily enough it was my 15th Birthday this year too! Happy 15th Anniversary LEGO Ideas!
