A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas!
In Dickens' timeless tale of Christmas spirit (and Spirits!), the cold-hearted Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his old business partner Marley and then by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet To Come! They help to show Scrooge the error of his ways and he vows to show more kindness and charity, starting with his clerk Bob Cratchit and his crippled son, Tiny Tim.
Our idea includes a fold-out wall element and shows 4 scenes from the book: A Victorian London snow scene outside Scrooge's window, his living quarters and bedroom, where he is visited by Marley and the first two Spirits, and finally Bob Cratchit's small house, where he and Tiny Tim are preparing their meagre Christmas family dinner, but complete with plum pudding of course! The scenes can be changed to provide the festive, food-filled living room setting where Scrooge finds the Ghost of Christmas Present, or why not a spooky graveyard with Scrooge and the final Spirit!?
