Tensegrity Racers (Tether Racers)

This build combines the wonder of "Tensegrity" with the fun of racing. Proving to be a fun build for all ages.

Tensegrity refers to an illusion of floating, by the tension of tethers to keep a portion of the structure suspended in mid air. The shorter tethers keep the structure from falling straight down but the structure still wants to fall forward due to the weight distribution, (which you can change with the flaps) so the longer tethers prohibit this. Originally created by Buckminster Fuller to describe a structure that holds its integrity through means of tension hence Tensegrity.

Tether Raceing is an extreme sport concept in which two competitors craft are tied together and they must work in unison to complete a highly difficult race course before any other pairs. This sport requires bravery, determination and most of all Teamwork. A sport not for the faint of heart.
