Up, Up and Away

The good ol' hot air balloon, one of the first facilitators of human flight. It suspends the traveler in an oversized picnic basket hundreds of meters above the Earth's surface. Looking down everything appears to belong to a colony of ants until it passes and transforms into a sea of green. Trees reaching to the sky and the occasional camper looking to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life. Bobbing up and down, floating in and out of clouds in near silence, it makes for a peaceful adventure and fantastic utilization of STEM.

The model cuts it close with 248 pieces but makes use of each one. It features the ability to float up and down with the clouds as if it were really flying high above the village below. Overall I hope it satisfies and I thank everyone who checked it out! :)
