Gramophone Musical Memories Of My Grandfather

Hello Fellow Lego Fans !

When i received the email notification of "Music to our ears" i wasn't sure i would create an idea. but after reading the contest details i saw that it said a memory.

As soon as i read this the memory came to mind instantly, as i child i had great memories of listening to my Grandfathers old records with him. we would hang out for hours on end. he would play them and i would search through his collection grabbing record after record. 

In this memory i have a gramophone, and a depiction of my grandfather turning the handle. this idea some what turned into an abstract incomplete visual representation, which in a sense memories can be. Included also are a few musical notes flowing from the Horn. A large record, built using flat tiles to create a sort of etched vinyl look. 

I hope you enjoy this visual musical memory as much as i enjoyed creating it, as well as living it.,
