Gunstar - The Last Starfighter

One of my favourite sci-fi movie from my childhood was The Last Starfighter. I've watched it many times so I thought I will build the Gunstar for this challenge.

I tried to capture as many details I could including the Death Blossom. The four segments on the wings can be opened the reveal the Death Blossom.

Instead of using just a regular black stand for the set I decided to recreate the arcade game from the movie as a stand. On the ship I tried to avoid decals but on the stand a few decals were inevitable to create the proper look.

Also I designed Alex and Grig as minifigures. They can be seated inside the ship as well.
