Shipwreck Tavern

This set is based on the Pirates sets of the early 90's, specifically the sets that take place on small self contained islands like "Pirate's Treasure Hold" or "Smuggler's Shanty", which were some of my favorites as a kid. As a play on the nostalgia challenge I also envisioned time to have passed within the Pirate world.

Now 30+ years later, on older Captain Redbeard has retired from his life of pirating. He's turned one of his old pirate shipwrecks into a tavern for weary, thirsty, and hungry sailors which he's named "The Parched Pirate". Inside the tavern you'll find a variety of objects from his pirating days including: his old sword, a treasure chest, a pirate flag, an old treasure map, and his trusty parrot. He's also made use of the ship's wheel, barrels, and oars.

While Redbeard is currently enjoying the easy life running his tavern you never know when a customer might arrive with tales of treasures untold and Redbeard decides to trade in his retirement for another adventure.
