The Heart of the Home
"A Twist of Nostalgia" challenge brought back so many great LEGO memories.
We had the LEGO "homemaker" series, a few years after it got released, and it was so fun. Back then, insides of home were the jam! From kitchens (1969), to the baby cot (1973), to a bathroom (1979) which we need more of in LEGO cities.., to a bedroom (1980) and so much more!
For this challenge, I updated one of the classic kitchen set, #269, but tried to keep the nostalgic look and feel. Growing up and even with my own family, the kitchen is still the place to be. To eat and make yummy food, to chat about your day and to play board games on the kitchen table!
Hence why it would make a perfect GWP! I hope you like it! For more LEGO fun, see my insta page @brickswhynot
