Town Square - Castle Scene (1592) Book Store

I always loved this Town Square scene (set 1592) from the early 1980s - especially the book store. I think it is because of its frame house style, which was achieved by just putting black and white bricks together. So simple and yet ingenious. In this new version I just added some bookshelfs, full of books - consisting just of colored 1x2 tiles and simple 1x2 plates. In the upper floor I added a cosy reading corner, where one can have some coffee or hot chocolate. I wanted to keep it simple. This keeps the spirit of this old set.
