Ever Maturing Childhood Ship
The ship represents my passion for LEGO and for my other hobby - sailing! It serves really well as a decoration, catching the eye of every guest.
The ship is called the way it is for a reason - I built the first version of it when I was around 10 years old, about 20 years ago. You could say it has been in development for the last 20 years. It has a special place in my heart since it is the only MOC that in some form persisted with me all this time: moving out, graduating, getting married and having kids. It even tragically fell from the shelf and broke into pieces. I had to rebuild it but managed to make the hull a lot sturdier - now it can be picked up with just 2 fingers.
I was about to bring a new pirate to the crew, but this challenge inspired me to also add some final touches in order to complete the build. Ship is finished… for now. Truth to be told, it will never stop maturing, for as long as I live I will be altering it a little every once in a while.
