Reunion of the Wizarding Schools

“Always the same, we can't resist showing off when we get together…” – Arthur Weasley

This depicts the scene from my favourite of the books when the delegations from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang arrive to take part in the Triwizard Tournament. This for me marks the beginning of Harry's most exciting year at Hogwarts.

Determined to make an impressive entrance, the wizards from both foreign schools chose a unique mode of transport: a flying carriage, pulled by giant horses, and a ship emerging from the lake.
