Let’s Jazz
As a jazz aficionado, I am exciting to design the poster for the Jazz Quartet.
In this poster, the main feature is the pianist which is the key change in the final product of Jazz Quartet compared to the submission. When I was having the first look on the product, I imagined this pianist is also a vocalist and is singing while playing piano. Therefore, in the poster, I try to capture her facial expression and adding piano keyboard next to her as if she is playing piano and singing at the same time. A large trumpet is also added which is simply designed with the use of some LEGO plates and tiles to draw your attention of jazz element.
In addition, I used the main features of the 4 instruments in the set, trumpet, piano, bass and drum to design the word “JAZZ”.
A logo is also added on the top left-hand corner. The show is ready, let’s come and join this great Jazz show with us.
