Our Place in Space

Celebrating the contributions of Galileo Galilei for our understanding of our place in space.  The heliocentric concept of the universe might not seem like much today but our comprehension of planet Earth's place as part of a solar system is perhaps one of the greatest moments in our discovery of space. Galileo stands atop the Earth, poised with his telescope as the planet spins, whilst rotating around the sun.
