Aston Martin DB5 in minifigure scale and with working gadgets
The Aston Martin DB5 is my favourite Bond car, and I liked a lot the way Lego put the gadgets in the Creator model, so I adapted them to a minifigure scale version. I added the front machine guns, the rear window bulletproof screen and the ejector seat, which I considered them the most representative gadgets.
The front machine guns are displayed manually, spinning the 1x1 plate with the shaft and the 1x1 tile (these bricks are the machine guns). The bulletproof screen is deployed turning the nozzle piece behind the rear bumper.
The minifigure is ejected pressing the air intake in the hood. There are two technic beams with a rubber band under the central part of the car working as a lever. The blue technic beam boost the minifig into the air. The roof must be removed manually or ejected with the minifigure.
I used smaller wheels without mudguards bricks in a previous version, but the DB5 looked better with bigger wheels. These wheels with the mudguards fit better with design of the car.
