First Glimpse of the Ocean

This summer I had my first glimpse of the ocean (at least not from an airplane). While the ocean itself could make a beautiful and powerful photo, I decided to represent the steps leading to that moment when I touched its frigid water. Thus you can see sand dunes and dune grass, driftwood, fragments of sand dollars, and footprints in the sand wetted by the ocean.
