This project was inspired by a tram I built in LEGO Digital Designer on August 27th of 2016. The inspiration of that tram came from the Commuter Tram from TRAINZ Simulator 2010. I built this model tonight to submit to LEGO Ideas, and I hope you all enjoy it!
The Modula City Commuter Tram project is 527 pieces. This project includes five minifigures: a driver and four passengers.
A unique feature is built into each tram car; the seats can be pulled out from the side. It not only gives easy access to place minifigures inside, but it also creates more space inside each car in a sense. If the sliding seats feature was not integrated into each tram car, the builds would have to be six studs wide instead of four studs wide.
Thank you for viewing and supporting this project! If you have any suggestions for future projects or modifications for this project, please let me know in the comments. Have a good day, everyone! By cheesy. 6/27/2018
