Ninjago: Tornado of Creation

This build is based on the Lego theme and TV series "Lego Ninjago". It's about a group of six ninjas who protect the city from the bad guys. They also have each one a power (fire, ice, earth, lightning, water and energy) called elemental power, and they use those powers to defeat the villains. They can do spinjitzu, a fighting technique which consists in spinning fast and becoming a tornado. They combine this technique with their elemental power, making each one its own elemental spinjitzu. When they combine their spinjitzu into one tornado, thy create a giant tornado that has the power of create whatever the ninjas want. That is called the tornado of creation.

 

This build is a representation of the tornado of creation that they made on the las episode of the tenth season: "March of the oni", when the six ninjas (Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Lloyd and Nya), their master (Wu) and their worst enemy (Lord Garmadon) work together and create the tornado against the onis (a kind of demons).

 

The build shows my own representation of the tornado and their elemental spinjitzu. Each spinjitzu has details of each elemental power and transparent colors pieces. For Kai, whose elemental power is fire, I used flame pieces and transparent red and orange colors. For Nya, whose elemental power is water, I used flame pieces and transparent blue and transparent light blue colors. For Jay, whose elemental power is lightning, I used lightning pieces and transparent dark blue and transparent blue colors. For Zane, whose elemental power is ice, I used snowflakes pieces and transparent light blue colors. For Cole, whose elemental power is earth, I used rock pieces and brown and transparent brown colors. For Lloyd, whose elemental power is energy, I put some 1 x 1 round plates in transparent dark green between the transparent light green pieces of his spinjitzu. For Wu, the master of the ninjas, I put some 1 x 1 round plates in transparent neon yellow between the transparent light yellow pieces of his spinjitzu. Finally, for Lord Garmadon, Wu’s evil brother, I used lightning pieces and transparent purple and transparent black colors. For the tornado I used golden pieces and I tried to give it a spiral shape.

 

Lego Ninjago has been one of my favorite lego themes since I was little, and I've collected a lot of sets of this theme. In addition, the tornado off creation is an iconic part of Ninjago, and since it has never been made a lego set, I decided to make one.

 

Also, I think that a lot of people like this theme, so that's why I thought this would be a great set that many people would like it.
