A Cute Garden

Phew, it's been a crazy day. But this place is calming; just listen to the frog croaking and birds singing. I guess it's time to check on the garden.

This is, in a simple way to put it, a garden. Although it's not too big or too small, it's a cute garden. It is the perfect size for a fun build. It only has one minifigure, but she works perfectly with the set. There are two custom stickers: "Shhh… the seeds are sleeping", and the second says, "New gardeners learn by trowel and error." Haha. One garden bed has small plants growing. Not sure what type…. The other garden bed has carrots with an earthy brown color because the carrots are still in the ground. The garden shed has two small plants growing inside and shears on the top shelf. The shed also has one open window to see inside and a closed window with one side upside down to give the window an imperfect look. The pond has two small lily pads, flowers, and flower pots. There are also two trees. The dark red one is a Japanese maple, one of my mom's favorite trees. And she likes hanging flower baskets, so there is one of those too. The ground is sloping in many different directions to make it look more natural.

The reason why I built this, and I am going to be honest here, I ran out of ideas for building (I only post my best builds) and asked my mom if she had any ideas. She enjoys gardening and wanted me to build a garden. So that's what I made. I spent several hours each day for about 3 or 4 days designing different aspects until it was perfect. Happy Mother's Day.

I believe this would make a great Lego Ideas set because of its cute size and simplicity. It would fit well with the other Lego Ideas sets and stand out as its own set.
