Mashup Madness: Cloud Surfing

Have you ever looked up at the fluffy clouds and wondered what it would be like to surf carefree through them? This fantastical mashup, surfing and the sky, depicts the billowy waves and bright sun you would encounter while surfing on the clouds!

The Idea

While brainstorming ideas for this build, I started mindlessly putting white sloped pieces together. Upon looking at what I had built, it slightly resembled a wave. There was an idea! I quickly looked for all the blue slopes I had, only to discover my hopes were in vain. Not only had I not enough blue for the wave itself, but also for the water around it, dashing my hopes of a surfing build. Disappointedly returning to my white wave, I picked up a yellow 2x2 round plate in my hand and twirled it in my knuckles. Then it hit me. I didn't need blue after all! Using yellow pieces for a sun and making the "waves" from white clouds, I could create a fantastical and cool build! From there I began to design and build my Mashup Madness entry, Cloud Surfing. Finishing two days later here is the finished product. I hope you enjoy this simple build as much as I do!
