Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
Archiving Villa Savoye
First, our compliments to King_Arthur for this beautiful rendition of Villa Savoye done in the style of our LEGO® Architecture line.
Today we have confirmed our latest LEGO Architecture release, #21014 Villa Savoye, and are archiving this LEGO CUUSOO project accordingly. We love your model and it would have been a great story to see this come up via LEGO CUUSOO, however we have been working on our own Villa Savoye independently of this project while actively developing our LEGO Architecture line. Naturally, we could not say anything about our plans until the official set release.
As it typically takes 12-18 months to develop and release a LEGO product, situations like this are likely where a LEGO CUUSOO project overlaps a product that is in development. The closer a LEGO CUUSOO project is based on an existing LEGO product line, the greater this risk will be. Overlaps of this nature are covered in #7 of the LEGO CUUSOO Guidelines and House Rules.
We naturally recommend avoiding suggesting concepts that have a high potential of overlap.
