The Neverending Story is a wonderful novel by German writer Michael Ende first published in 1979. In its 40th anniversary I have done this tribute to one of the most iconic characters of this world of overflowing imagination.
There are plenty of interesting characters and fantastic places in the novel. I have chosen Falkor (Fuchur in German) because is the one we travel with alongside the land of Fantastica.
The Falkor figure has the following articulable parts: head, mouth, paws and tail.
I have done a model according to what I imagined while I read the book. Maybe it’s not the same picture you might have in mind from your reading or from the movie, but I hope you like it.
If this idea becomes a Lego set, it would include four minifigures: The Childlike Empress, Atreyu, Bastian Balthazar Bux as a kid with The Neverending Story Book on his hands, and Bastian as a Knight when he travels to Fantastica.
