Wouldn't we all love us a new Lego Mos Eisley Cantina for in our Lego Star Wars Galaxy?
A Mos Eisley Cantina which isn't as small as the Lego Set 4501, but has an appropriate size for playing, that will fit in your dioramas and has the looks and feel of a real Mos Eisley Cantina.
Well this could be a solution:
First, let me start by telling you that the Main Cantina Pack is a setbuilder. Together with the Cantina Entrance Pack, the Cantina Benches Pack and the Cantina Band, it's going to be a complete cantina with a lot of figures and details.
The reason for dividing the Cantina in special packs is that the Mos Eisley Cantina only will be cool when all details are covered. So we need a band, an entrance with a droid detector, a bar, and of course some benches. But when you have all those things in one set, not only there's no way we can get all those minifigures in that one set, also it would certainly be smaller and less accurate.
The heart of those Packs would be the Main Cantina Pack:
The bar is the center of the set. The Main Cantina is able to switch open for playing of course. The roof is divided in two different panels and come off. In order to transform the Main Cantina Pack into the Complete Cantina Playset you can take off three whole segments. First you can take of the small entree of the Cantina. Here you can connect the Cantina Entrance Pack. If you take of the wall on the right side of the bar, there's place to connect the Cantina Band Pack. And the wall on the left is also removable and makes way for the Cantina Benches Pack.
One of the figures of this pack is the cranky bartender Wuher. We also need Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi. And of course Ponda Baba (walrusman) and Dr. Evazan to get in trouble with. Too spice up the set there is also the extra visitor Kitik Keed'Kak. The good thing for TLC is that only Ponda Baba needs a new sculpt. Kitik Keed'Kak would be re-use of the head of Twitch from Toy Story, and his arms are constructed. All the mini-figures will be equipped with blasters of course.
In order to complete the whole cantina in all its details you will need all the Cantina Packs. This is only the Main Cantina Pack. The other Cantina Packs you can find in my projects. Also there is a project of Star Wars Universe Packs which has also a Mos Eisley Cantina Universe Pack with extra mini-figures who will fit your Mos Eisley Cantina Really well.
