Fanad Lighthouse
Built in 1815, the historic lighthouse at Fanad Head is dramatically perched atop a crag of rocks overlooking the wild Atlantic Ocean and the Lough Swilly in County Donegal off the north coast of the Republic of Ireland. The lighthouse tower provides stunning views of the Irish coastline from 39-meters above sea level, while two dwellings originally built for light-keepers now serve to protect visitors from frequent wind and rain. The lighthouse at Fanad Head is one of 70 working lighthouses dotting the Irish coast and operated by the Comissioners of Irish Lights.
The Lego version of the lighthouse at Fanad Head is close to minifigure scale and accurately recreates the iconic look and setting of the original location. This set includes minifigures of a lighthouse visitor and two dolphins.
