My brother is a huge fan of the cult Sci-Fi show Space 1999, and a few years back for his birthday I decided to build him his very own Eagle out of Lego. I've had this model on display on my website, www.backinblock.com for some time now, and thought it would make an ideal Cuusoo project submission! The Eagle Transporter was the main ship used on the show. Creating it out of Lego was no easy task. I made stickers to simulate the "piping" on the spine of the ship, and I also used labels to hep create the nose cone and retro rockets.
The Eagle features a removable pod. Here are some other views of my model. Space 1999 fans, please support my model! Help me get the Eagle Transporter made into a real Lego set!
