Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
This is a clothing store. It is based off of an actual building that I have a picture of, but with a bit of my own design added to it. It was always intended to be just one color, sand red, partially as an experiment with a monochromatic color scheme, but also simply because I wanted to make a red-brick building. It is a little over 1800 pieces and includes three minifigures: a store employee and two other people. I originally intended the female minifigure in the center with the green leg piece to be the store owner, but I figure that she could be anyone.
The bottom floor is the clothing store itself. It includes a display of bottoms on one side, a display of tops on the other side, and a center rack displaying tops in the middle. At the front are two mannequins, displaying a selection of the store's inventory to passerby. At the back is a cashier's counter and a dressing room, but also another, locked door. This door leads to the apartment above the store. It has a small kitchen, a dining table capable of seating four minifigures, and a small living room with a couch, a coffee table, and a TV. Upstairs is a bathroom with a shower, a sink, a mirror, and a toilet - all the essentials. Then there are two bedrooms. One is the master bedroom, which includes a large bed and a set of drawers. The other is a kids' room, and inside it has a bunk bed. The entire upper floor of the apartment is also lit by the glass panels in the roof, a major feature of the building that inspired the build.
