The R53 MINI Cooper S was released in 2002, about 40 years after the original Cooper S. It had a supercharged version of the 1.6 litre engine used in the Cooper. It had 163bhp and could do 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds. It was replaced in 2006 by the R56, which was slightly longer and had a different engine.
My LEGO Cooper S 6 studs wide, 14 studs long and is made of 125 bricks. It includes:
- Rear view mirrors
- Opening doors
- A realistic interior
- Central speedometer
- Steering wheel
- Four seats
- Fuel filler cap
