A (K)night at the Tavern

The hungry knight left the castle to have a good night in the tavern of the town.
 
A short story, containing of three scenes. Each scene fits into a frame of 25 x 25 cm of a large Swedish furniture company and is built on a base of 4 x 29 studs. The height is roughly 24 bricks. Each frame can be mounted on a wall as a piece of art.
 
 
Scene 1: THE CASTLE
 
The hungry knight is leaving the castle and is on his way to the nearby forest. The castle is protected by a drawbridge, a trench (which includes plants and fishes), a sentinel and a canon. The armoury is filled with gear and supplies, beyond is a grave of a once famous knight.
 
Scene 2: ENTERING THE TOWN
 
After a long ride the knight reaches the end of the forest and arrives at the town. A watchtower protects the town, the first house and a well can be seen.
A soldier returns from his patrol to the watchtower, a frog and a chicken are resting next to the well.
 
Scene 3: THE TAVERN
 
The knight has finally arrived at the tavern. On the left side the house and the workshop of a blacksmith can be seen. His wife watches him from the balcony.
The tavern on the right has a kitchen on the ground level, the first level is where the knight enjoys his dinner and some drinks. The second floor is for entertainment, a troubadour awaits the guest as well as a comfy chair to relax after the meal.
 
 
The set consist of ca. 1.500 parts.
