Product Idea

SpaceX Crew Dragon

Use the hashtag #legospacex on social media to make this a reality!

On May 30th, at 3:22 EST, the Dragon Endeavor (Dragon 2) launch astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley into space, bringing back crewed space launches to American soil, for the first time in 9 years.
Now, you can support to get this into stores!

Check out the video I made for the project:

About the model:

This model includes:

6 Swappable Minifigures, astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley (of the Demo-2 mission) and astronauts (from left to right) Victor Glover, Mike Hopkins, JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi, and Shannon Walker

A posable Dragon capsule -- Which is removable from the trunk for what I call splashdown mode.

A removable nose cone for extra realism.

456 pieces, making it a relatively affordable idea.

This model took me about 2 months to create, I kept track of how many drafts and redrafts I did. The total count was 27 redrafts from my first attempt (which I will add in an update).

I built this model because I am a SpaceX (and all space) enthusiast, and I didn't see anyone attempt the model in this scale before (1:35 scale).

I think this would make an amazing Lego set for anyone interested in Space, and it would be affordable too!

Remember, the support button is completely free, so SMASH it.

What's coming in updates:
Splashdown mode stand: A water base for the capsule.
Mini Go Navigator Ship to pick up the capsule.
Updated Suits on Minifigures
