Calvin and Hobbes: Never Stop Chasing Your Dreams!

Hobbes once said, "Van Gogh would’ve sold more than one painting if he’d put tigers in them".

It's time to prove him right!

Hello, my name is Olivia. I'm 13 years old, and I created this build for you to enjoy. Calvin and Hobbes is our family's all-time favorite comic strip series, and I'm so fortunate that my Dad took the time to introduce me to these amazing characters and the imaginative worlds they explore!

Recently my Dad challenged me to create this set because it was so difficult to capture these characters properly in small LEGO form. I think I've proved him wrong. What do you think?

I have posted this build on social media, so others could enjoy it and the supportive comments have been overwhelming. It seems that many people share my interest in making the LEGO version of Calvin and Hobbes a reality!

I know that Mr. Watterson has traditionally been very protective of licensing C+H for various products but with LEGO's wonderful (and very tasteful) approach to other art sets plus the support and comments of the LEGO community (including some previous LEGO Masters contestants) who told me "if you’re saying something like 'it can’t happen' you may be limiting yourself unnecessarily", I figured why not?

Even if this set is never produced, I am just happy to have this opportunity to share my build with you, so that we might enjoy it together!
