Global warming or should we call it global warning?
In Isreal they are building a Solar Power Plant. Here 50.000 mirros reflect the sunshine to the 240m high tower. In this tower water boils and the temperature rise to about 400 degrees celcius. The produced steam makes a turbine rotate and produce 320GWh elektricity in a single year.
This mini model is based on the up coming "Ashalim Solar Power Thermal Statio" in Israel, and kept in the LEGO architecture style.
As an energy technology student this was a fun way to understand the mechanism behind CSP (Concentrated Solar Power)
