The Japanese Village

The Japanese Village was inspired by the streets of Kyoto. I built this set because I really like Japan. In fact, I have visited Japan eight times in my life. Also, LEGO has been releasing many sets based on popular landmarks and countries, and I wanted to create a set that was inspired by Japan and Minifigure-scale. I think this would make a great LEGO set because, since it is Minifigure-scale, builders have the choice to add it to their existing LEGO cities or simply display it on their shelves. Also, this build contains elements that don't exist in the current sets and that builders will have fun with.

The Japanese Village contains 4880 pieces and six Minifigures. The build is on two 32 x 32 baseplates and contains three buildings and a pagoda. The first floor of the leftmost building is a Ramen shop with a kitchen and dining area. The first floor of the middle building is a matcha cafe that serves lattes, ice cream, chocolate, etc. The first floor of the rightmost building is a souvenir store that sells kitchen utensils, clothing, handbags, action figures, umbrellas, and a few other things. The additional pagoda was inspired by the Chureito Pagoda in Tokyo. It is not accessible from the inside.
