This model is based on Anakin's Jedi Interceptor, as seen in Star Wars III- Revenge of the Sith. This detailed model contains 2,918 bricks, on par with or above the amount of pieces in many other UCS sets that Lego has produced so far. The model features an R2D2 with a rotating head, a detailed cockpit, fully adjustable wings for maneuverability, and a display stand.
I was inspired to create this model by the fact there aren't many Lego Star Wars UCS sets out there based on the prequels, and so I thought this may be a nice addition to the UCS lineup. Also, I've never seen anyone else try to make a UCS model of the Jedi Interceptor before, so I just though why not? How hard could it be? Well, as it turns out, pretty hard! It took me a couple of months to perfect it, but here is the final product after many, many hours of hard work. Plus, Star Wars Rogue One is right around the corner, so what better way to celebrate than with a new Star Wars UCS Set?
If you liked this, why not check out a few of my other Star Wars projects too, and make sure to stay tuned for updates. I hope you enjoy my idea as much as I did building it, and don't forget to support, follow, or even share to help Anakin's Jedi Interceptor reach it's 10,000 supporter goal! As always, thanks for reading/viewing, and may the force be with you!
