'Hang On A Minute Lads, I’ve Got A Great Idea…' The Italian Job is my favourite film and I wanted to recreate the iconic coach used for the gold heist. It’s a memorable scene when the red, white and blue vehicles drive into the coach while it is moving! Although it was produced in 1969 it is still a classic to this day.
The build includes opening boots for the red, white and blue vehicles including the gold bullion, the coach with the rails and opening doors to drive the vehicles inside and a removable panel on the coach roof.
I also thought it would be great to include some of the great characters such as Charlie Croker, Mr Bridger, Camp Freddie and Professor Peach in addition to the team that took part in the heist.
