Saber

Saber is a mini war robot who features a diverse array of hinges and other elements in a neat compact package to create a small yet very detailed and manoeuvrable model. The majority of my LEGO mech and robot inspiration often comes from anime mecha, which you can see in the large sword, wings and shoulder armour. One aspect that I thoroughly enjoy when building micro scale models is the challenge of making them just as flexible as a large model. It forces you to experiment with new combinations of hinges, plates and other pieces that you wouldn't have otherwise done before.

With 89 pieces, Voltix stands over 11.3 cm (4.5 inches) tall, and looks fantastic in any LEGO collection.
