This is a LEGO replica of the Lightning Mech from the strategy video game Into the Breach by Subset Games.
In game, Lightning Mech is a Prime-class mech and member of the Blitzkrieg squad. It uses its equipped Electric Whip to zap invading Vek monsters and anything adjacent to them, friend or foe. This damage chaining causes lots of havoc, making the mech both challenging and fun to play with. That's why I decided to build it in LEGO!
This model consists of the Lightning Mech standing atop a terrain tile from the game's opening Museum Island. Mechs are the size of buildings in the game, but this model is scaled more like a large hard-suit for a Minifigure. The mech can open to place a Pilot inside. You can play with it, pose it, and display it! Please support it!
