Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
The steam-powered tractor I tried to reproduce in this mini-model was made by Harrison Machine Works in Belleville (Illinois) in 1882. It consists of a tractor and a trailer. Unfortunately only could find one picture of the original vehicle so I had to guess some of the details. Though I think the model is quite realistic.
The colours have been chosen to match the original vehicle, but they could be changed according to parts available in Lego stores; anyway most parts are available on the market in that colour.
Like other models I have submitted on Ideas this tractor is thought as being part of a "Historical Vehicles" theme that I would like Lego released one day.
The virtual model has been built with LDD (Extended Mode), the rendering was made with Bluerender software.
