The Red and Yellow Couches
The yellow couch
This yellow couch, which Walter Gropius designed himself in 1923, was originally intended for my house. Since it is very large, it unfortunately did not fit in here because it takes up a lot of space. This version is scaled down but looks a bit stocky. So I decided on the red couch.
Couch Design by W. Gropius in 1923.
The Red Couch.
The red couch, also a Bauhaus design, is also large but flatter and therefore doesn't look as clunky. Therefore, this is housed in the house.
More in the next update.

Many thanks to the first 100 supporters
Many thanks to the first 100 supporters for your help to get ahead. As of today, there will be small shoots about the Gropius house in the updates. Let's see what's inside and open it.
(As you can see, it's very simple)
01) We start in the dining and living room.
There you can see a groove (on the wall) between the dining and living area. At this point in the original house there was a heavy curtain that could be used to separate the areas. When the curtain was opened, it disappeared into the wall here. There was an electrical mechanism for this that was hidden in the wall.
More secrets to come. For example:
Why is the couch red and not yellow. The solution will follow in the next update, See you later.

The director's house in the shell.
The house under construction. No furniture and no lightweight walls. An interesting sight. Also for the purists among you. In the original, these elements supported the upper floor.
