A tunnel boring machine (TBM), is a machine used to excavate tunnels with a circular cross section through a variety of soil and rock strata. Another use is to dig mountains for making road tunnels. Is very useful for the mechanics, because they use it for:
- making metro lines tunnels
- making road tunnels
- train tunnels and e.c.t.
I made this model for modeling and education to learn the kids how it works and why we use it.I believe that is good to be a Lego set because is the first TBM model. Also i believe that gonna give a different level in modeling and in TECHNIC series
