Thomas & Friends: The All Aboard! Live Tour


The All Aboard! Live Tour is the arena stage show production in the UK from 2002 to 2006 based on the Thomas & Friends television series. The stage show was written Iain Lauchlan and Will Brenton.

The Engines and tracks were built by Chris Reynolds SFX. The miniature Thomas, Annie and Clarabel models are made for the backdrop scenes but they changed it. The show was rehearsed in Elstree Film Studios, near London and was photographed by Pete Jones. The James The Red Engine model earned a Guinness World Record in 2004 as the largest electric model train. The Thomas The Tank Engine model was used for the Queen's Party at Buckingham Palace in 2006.

The Thomas & Friends characters were based from The Railway Series by The Rev. W. Awdry since 1945.

Description of the project:

The bush, barrels, sacks, platform, bench, buffers, steps, fire bucket, coal bunker and tender coal loads can be removable. The windmill and Harold's propellers spin around in 360 degrees and the door and crossing gates are openable. The Engines' wheels. Jack's digger can be lifted upwards and downwards.
