This is a small hut on a Carribean island, built from driftwood, twigs and leaves. Outside the hut a small fire is burning. A man is sitting under a palm tree, sharpening a stick. Two caught fishes lie behind him, and there is a small storage of food at the other side of the hut. A piece of leather covers the entrance to the hut, hiding a simple bed inside.
The idea to build an island hut just came to me, and since I could not find anything really similar online I decided to share it here on Lego Ideas for others to see. I think it is a fun and playable set, triggering imagination and creativity. Who is the man? How did he end up on the island? For how long has he been there? What is he carving? Is he a choosing solitude, or is he ship-wrecked? What is the rest of the island like?
While being just a small build, to me it captures the essence of a great Lego set; a clear conceptual idea that will instantly bring inspiration and imagination to life! I hope you will like this Lego Ideas set as much as I do!
