This is my idea for a mini lathe set that includes 1 lathe and 1 'blank': wood that hasn't been turned yet. The functional elements are that the wood can turn, and the reciever (the part opposite of the glass) can be accuratly adjusted according to the size of the blank. built more for display than play, this set is also about life size. So it would make a great set because of the aformentioned accuracy, even though I just built it from a random idea.
