Launched on August 5th 2011 aboard an Atlas V-551 the Juno spacecraft began its five year journey to Jupiter; it has recently arrived at Jupiter on July 4th 2016 where it will orbit for about one year around the planet. I've made this simple 84 piece model that could be displayed on a desk or elsewhere! I've even included a display stand into the model to hold it up to make it seem like it is traveling in the depths of space.
I built this model because I just wanted a small simple model the the spacecraft and then I decided to post it on Lego ideas! This would make a great addition to Lego enthusiasts' collection and would go well as a follow up set to the Curiosity rover.
