Promotional Comic: Educational Aspects

The last two comics "The Little Greens" and "Cyborg Invaders" were about fiction and fun. But I think it's also possible to cover scientific facts by this method. As example, the console of the Computer Library System can be used in a comic to present data about our solar system. To enhance the experience, a QR code can be added which includes e.g. a link to Wiki or Lego Education, allowing the creation of an immersion between science and fiction.

Try it by yourself: check out the QR code and get further information.

The QR code might also be used in an alternative way: The project could contain a brick with a printed code integrated into the panel of the Computer Library System which links to a virtual console (would be nice to have a "working" one while playing with the carrier) or to a web portal related to the New Horizions with comics, mini games, scientific facts or product information. This would enhance the immersion in a very smart way.

Promitional Comics

As already mentioned, promitional comics could be used to advertise the New Horizons itself, explain our Solar System from an educational point of view or add more features. Today I would like to present the story of "The Little Greens":
