SpaceX - Falcon 9 and Starlink Satellite

This is a LEGO model of the Falcon 9 rocket developed by SpaceX.

The Falcon 9 uses a total of 10 merlin engines to carry a payload to Low Earth Orbit. 9 Merlin engines are used on the first stage, and one is used on the second stage. After stage separation, the first stage automatically lands itself on a drone ship located somewhere in the ocean. The second stage is discarded and burns in the upper atmosphere.

The Falcon 9 currently carries 3 payloads to orbit: Starlink (Included), Rideshare, and Dragon.

Starlink is a network of over 4000 satellites orbiting Earth, these satellites beam internet down to anyone using a Starlink Dish Receiver.

Rideshare is a program where regular people can pay SpaceX to take their satellite to orbit.

Dragon is a capsule that can carry a max of 7 people to Low Earth Orbit.
