The Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) is a lunar exploration mission led by NASA Ames Research Center and aimed at exploring the Moon's tenuous exosphere and dusty plasma environment.

LADEE was launched on September 7, 2013 aboard a Minotaur V rocket from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. It made its lunar orbit insertion on October 6, 2013 and soon after began its 100-day science phase.

Carried aboard LADDE are a handful of scientific instruments used to fulfill its mission objectives:

-Neutral Mass Spectrometer (NMS)
-UV-Vis Spectrometer (UVS)
-Lunar Dust EXperiment (LDEX)
-Lunar Laser Communication Demonstration (LLCD)

Comments and suggestions are always welcome!
