I built this cottage for many reasons. First, I've always loved nature and architecture and felt that there's no better way to incorporate both things than by building a cottage. Second, Lego doesn't have a cottage set, specifically in their Icons or Ideas themes, which I think it definitely needs. Third, my family has been renting a cottage for 1 week in each of the last few summers. We all really enjoy our time there, and I felt that this build should represent that. That's why I included a barbecue, where my dad makes some delicious dinners, and the chairs in the living room, where we relax in the evenings.

- 1 squirrel and acorn
- 2 rabbits, 2 trees
- 9 bushes with flowers with varying colours
- 2 birdhouses (one attached to each tree)

- A back deck

- A roof that can be easily removed in 2 parts

- Sink

- A table with 4 seats
Living Room
