This is the car from J.R.R. Tolkien's short story Mr. Bliss.
Despite it being a children's book, I find Mr. Bliss very entertaining and have read it many times.
The car plays a very significant role in the book as it is the source of most of Mr. Bliss' troubles. In the book, the car ends up being smashed, and used as a horse carriage in order to chase a trio of bears.
It is a very basic model, but the source material was too. There is room for four minifigures in the car.
