Mega Man + Rush

Mega Man (Rockman) one of the most recognizable video game icons has ventured into the LEGO universe alongside his four legged companion and hoverboard Rush. These articulated, action-figure-scaled builds feature both brain children from Dr. Light's robotic laboratory.

The side-scrolling platform game Mega Man, introduced by Capcom in 1987 on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), transported players into a colorful, futuristic world full of elemental enemies that could only be defeated using the opposite element against them. For example: dowsing flames out with a water cannon.

The two models, measuring around 6 inches tall each, with possibility at Mega Man's neck, shoulders, elbows, and knees as well as Rush's neck, shoulders, elbows and tail come out with a total of 19 points of articulation allowing builders to recreate their favorite poses, without sacrificing the style and personality that so defined the games. My 410 piece (Mega Man: 152 PCS - Rush: 258 PCS) LEGO build tries to recreate the cartoon style of Mega Man and Rush known today.

Mega Man represents a critical moment in video game history, as it was the first to introduce non-linear gameplay. Players were able to choose which levels they wanted to jump into first. In similar fashion to the LEGO Ideas platform, choose and support this design as the next LEGO Ideas set!
